This weekend is by far (probably) the most interesting weekend I had. All I thought before I came home was to Vote thats all...but i never expect to hear that one of my best friend is getting married in 2 months time and she's going to have a baby. Somehow, I was rather calm when i was told about it over a yumcha session, but when i woke up the next morning, I questioned myself if it was a dream.....but obviously its not. So I guess she finally got what she had really wanted....eventhough not the way that I thought she would have done, but i'll support her decision and wish her well in everything :) Now i do hope i'll be able to attend both the ceremonies as long as it doesn't class with my exam...or else i'll really lose out on the fun.
The other surprise came in the form of Opposition getting 5 states in malaysia...with DAP sweeping all the seats in Selangor. Never expected that but my first time voting will be a historical event that i'll remember for life....but the peoples power really showed. Oh...and also the 72nd Birthday of Sami.V(Mr. Toll) would be a quiet affair this year i guess....hehe. I slept at 3+ this morning after following the TV with my parents....okla...the TV was super slow and MalaysiaKini page was flooded, but internet is by far more updated than any other form of media Monopolised by the (*ahem* no longer) big blue. As sad as it seems....some of them cheat also cannot win....so sad for themla... Anyway since Malaysia had decide, everyone better get back to work.
