Jogging down memory lane

It seems that my sueh-ness has not finished yet.After trying to avoid the crowd by going home on a friday afternoon (instead of thursday night), i have to get myself caught up at the KL Sentral putra LRT station because my connecting train ride home had some kind of problem.God knows what their maintennance man are doing but it sucked badly.The queue was all the way to the middle of the building and the shutters were closed.Couldn't stand the long wait so i took the alternative which was to take the slow bus ride back home.

Before i forget,I would like to wish a happy 中秋节 to everyone! Had a fun night tonight.Got a call before dinner from W2 saying the usual primary gang will come over to my house to play candles.When my parents heard of it i swear they rolled their eyes! Who wouldn't? the idea of over grown kids playing candles in their front porch is so weird.Anyhow, we carried on anyway.Boy did we enjoyed the atmosphere.Who says only kids can play lanterns eh?

We hanged the lanterns up while waiting for SR to arrive.When she showed up finally, we went hyper. We consumed red wine(which SR brought) and sang to tunes(very loudly) that had the "moon" word in it and all this was happening on my front porch.We burned lanterns, lit candles and called a friend who was based in singapore.My neighbours who were having BBQ at the time started taking strolls towards my house and back just to see what we adults punks were doing. I can just imagine my neighbours reaction when i greet them tomorrow morning.

Talked a little about memories and things in life and mostly gossips in particular.The only torn among the roses LM represented the male clan in our discussions la...kinda interesting also. Its been sometime since we all last gathered in my house and caused a commotion which we always do with SR around.Ming puked after just half a glass of Red wine.Poor girl, hope she's well enough to attend her classes tomorrow.Shouldn't have let her drink it.Took some grainy pictures but left my BT dongle in Uni, so I'll upload them up when i get back and if i can blog from there.

Right after everyone left, it rained heavily suddenly.Even when LM came back to collect the picture DVD just 5 minutes off,it was still raining.But it was not for longla...it stopped after about 15 minutes.Damn short lived rain.....must be the cloud seeding thingyla.Dont think it'll clear the haze la.Unless sumatra's trees all get burned down, there'll be no end to it.

Mid-autumn festival does bring back lots of my childhood memories. I remembered they loved to play Alien movies on tv3 every mid-autumn fest.I remember it fondly coz my mom would bring me to walk to the nearby taman with my lanterns(last time everyone does it, now no one does it anymore....not safe liao) and when i come home, i'll sit down and watch the ending of it. I remembered playing with candles all by myself in the porch,burning up lanterns and twigs and leaves or anything that i could find so that i'll get a new lantern the next year.Somehow the coolest and most expensive lantern i had was a dragon shaped lantern that i managed to keep for 3 years.That was the only(surviving) one i didn't burn down(which i do religiously every year) to get a new one.Those were the days....I really had fun.
